AOTOA Training Program
- Three months observer ship program for Egyptians and from all over the world who are willing to attend with Dr. Ashraf Armia in the OR and in the clinic at the Armia’s Ophthalmology Observer Ship Academy AOTOA in Cairo, Egypt. (This is a non-profitable training observer ship program).
- Cataract, Refractive, Cornea and Anterior segment reconstruction cases according to the availability of the operation cases.
- The clinic will include all the refractive, anterior segment and medical retina cases discussion and decision making.
- Every candidate must present three PowerPoint presentations on subjects that will be chosen for her / his as one per month.
- Every candidate will choose three months in the year from January till December as three consecutive months.
- Every candidate must have her / his white coat for the clinic and the surgical scrub suit for the OR.
- Every candidate will receive her / his badge with personal photo, name and country written on the badge. All badges must be worn in the OR and the clinic. Badges must be clearly seen.
- Online application must be filled completely with exact data including JPG photo for the candidate and photo copy of the passport or ID for Egyptians. Time will be taken to review the application and get approved.
- Application fees 189 EUR will be covering; presentations preparation surroundings, badge, online Log Book and end of training program certificate in high quality printing.
- Application fees be must be paid online after approving the candidate data and before starting the Observer Ship program.
- Candidates will be chosen randomly from Egypt and all over the world who fulfill the application approval criteria.
- Candidates are preferred to be in their resident time or just getting started as specialist. Other stages will be put in consideration too.
- Travelling and accommodation for candidates from outside Egypt will be on their own expenses.
- At the end of the three months, the candidates will receive a certified certificate including the three months and hours of training at Armia’s Ophthalmology Observer Ship Academy AOTOA signed by Dr. Ashraf Armia.
